Pat was commissioned to do this portrait of Helene Guidican by her mother Helen Mathias. This picture is elegantly framed and matted in gold. The original hangs over the fireplace at Helen Mathias's home. When Helen's daughter passed away, Helen commissioned Pat to draw this portrait of Helene Guidican.(1962 - 1982). Art collector lithographs come with a certificate of authenticity and are registered and autographed and numbered making them very valuable.  Item #3 "Gloop" $250.00 (Matted and framed - 11x14) "Gloop" is part of a wall mural done by Pat Hanner for the "Here We Grow Child Care Center", founded by her with the help of the Women's Committee at Lanterman Developmental Center in Pomona, CA in the early 1980's. This painting was one of many Sesame Street paintings done in the Center. Pat was a wall muralist and for 3 years 1980 - 1983. Pat did a voluntary project at Lanterman painting wall murals on institutional walls for the enjoyment of individuals living there. This was called "Project Redo". Pat painted and her voluntary crews painted 20of the 10,000 square foot buildings . Pat worked with a team of student artists from Mt SAC Art Department and the crews of the California Conservation Corpsalso stationed at LDC. She served on the Board of Directors of the Child Care Ceneter for 20 years. She is still on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Federal Credit Union located also at Lanterman Developmental Center, Pomona, California. |
